1. We introduce; we do not sell

ForFarmers publishes adverts placed by its members. The goods and services advertised belong to the members who posted them. We do not manufacture, own, inspect, store, ship or warranty anything shown on the board, and we act as neither party's agent.

2. Accuracy of adverts

Every advert is the statement of the member who posted it. We review adverts against our rules and remove those that break them, but a review is not a verification of ownership, condition, mileage, yield, title or fitness for a purpose. Descriptions, photographs and prices are not warranties from us.

3. Your own checks

• Inspect the item before you pay, and pay by a method that leaves you a record.
• Ask for documentation: logbook, service history, test certificates, herd health status, seed certification or tenancy details as the case may be.
• Confirm weights, measures, acreage and boundaries in writing — and for land, rely on a survey and a solicitor rather than on the advert.
• Confirm that the item may lawfully be sold, moved and used where you are.

4. General information, not advice

Articles, guides and figures published on this site are general information about agriculture and about using the platform. They are not veterinary, agronomic, financial, tax or legal advice. Take advice from a qualified professional before acting on anything that affects your land, your livestock or your money.

5. Prices and availability

An advertised price is what the seller offered on the day they posted. Prices change, items sell and adverts are withdrawn. Nothing published here is an offer capable of acceptance by you; it is an invitation to treat.

6. Third-party links

The site links to the partner sites of our network and occasionally to outside resources. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of a site we do not operate.

7. Limitation

Our liability is limited as set out in section 10 of the Terms & Conditions. If something on the site misleads you, tell us through the contact page and we will look into it.
