ForFarmers

Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

ForFarmers is an independent catalog of farm and garden goods operated as part of the All Farmers, One Platform network. We research, test and list goods — seed and starts, hand tools, barn and flock supplies, soil and compost kit — and link each entry to the retail store that sells it. We are the publisher of the catalog, not the seller of anything listed in it. The operator can be reached at [email protected] or through the contact page.

2. Your account

Browsing the catalog is open to everyone. An account lets you carry one identity and one set of preferences across every site of the network. You must give a valid email address, keep your password confidential and accept responsibility for everything done under your account; tell us promptly if you think the password has been compromised. One person may hold one account, and we may merge or close duplicates after writing to you.

3. What you may and may not do

  • Use the site lawfully, and send us only accurate information through the contact form and your profile.
  • Do not scrape, resell, systematically extract or mirror entries, prices, photographs or site data.
  • Do not interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or reverse-engineer the software beyond what applicable law allows.
  • Do not use the site, its forms or any member's contact details to distribute unsolicited messages.
  • Do not send us payment card details or unlawful content in an enquiry.

4. Entries, prices and affiliate links

An entry describes goods as the retailer offered them on the day the price was checked. Retailers change prices, specifications and availability without telling us. Outbound links from this catalog are affiliate links: when you follow one and buy, the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you, and that is disclosed on every page. We work to keep entries accurate and we correct a reported listing on business days.

5. Purchases are between you and the retailer

ForFarmers introduces you to goods; it does not sell them. The contract for sale is made directly between you and the retailer, and the retailer answers to you for quality, description, delivery, warranty, tax, returns and any statutory remedy. Your mandatory consumer rights where you live apply to that purchase and are not affected by these Terms. See our Disclaimer.

6. What you send us

Messages sent through the contact page are used to answer you, to correct listings and to improve the catalog. Keep them lawful and leave out card details. We may note the general lesson of an enquiry — never your personal data — in an editorial update.

7. Your profile and preferences

Your account carries the name, nickname, avatar and optional details you choose to add, plus display choices such as colour template and language. You may change any of it from your account page; keep it accurate, and keep it yours — we do not edit a member's profile except to remove unlawful or reported material.

8. Availability

We work to keep the site available around the clock and we plan for maintenance, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. The service may be paused for updates, infrastructure work or events outside our control, and we announce planned downtime on the site where we reasonably can.

9. Suspending and closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaches these Terms, is used in fraud, or whose owner cannot be reached at the address on file. You may close your own account at any time from your account page; the steps are set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

We are liable for our own negligence, for fraud and for fraudulent misrepresentation, and nothing here limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue or data, or for the acts and omissions of retailers and other websites we link to. Where we are liable for anything else, our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and £100.

11. Complaints

Tell us what went wrong through the contact page and quote the email address on your account. We acknowledge a complaint within two working days and answer it in substance within fourteen. If we cannot settle it, you may refer the matter to the consumer authority of your country; residents of the European Union may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes to these Terms and governing law

We may update these Terms as the service changes; the date at the top of this page is the date of the last change, and for material changes we notify members by email before the new terms apply. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts hear any dispute, save that the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence still apply to you.

13. Third-party websites

Every purchase link leaves this catalog for a retail store, and the site links to the partner sites of our network. Once you are on another site, its own terms and privacy policy govern you. We choose the stores we link to carefully, but we are not responsible for the content, conduct or practices of a site we do not operate.
